Position 1: Logistics Manager based in Dhading Besi
- The main purpose of this post is to lead and provide overall direction to the program support staff, and to be responsible
- for all procurement and logistics in the program. This will include overseeing warehouse, vehicles and office
- management. The post-holder will report directly to the Disaster Response Manager and will be part of the DR program
- Management Team.
• University level education
•Grade: Bachelor in Development, Business, Commerce or a related area.
•3 years or more experience as an office or logistics manager.
•Experience of managing large procurement contracts.
•Proficient in English (spoken and written)
•Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Position 2: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor based in Dhading Besi
- The main purpose of this post is to lead and provide overall direction to all Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
- activities in the programme. The post-holder will report directly to the Disaster Response Manger and is also a member of
- the DR Programme Management Team.
Minimum qualifications:
• Masters degree in relevant subject with 3 years experience or Bachelors degree in relevant subject with 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience of working with the NGO/INGO sector in a developing country situation.
• Knowledge and ability in using computer-based data analysis.
• Knowledge and ability in using participatory methodologies.
• Good networking, facilitation, training, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Excellent language and communication skills in both Nepali and English.

Position 3: Programme Managers for the Disaster Response Programme in Dhading
(2 positions, North and South)
- The main purpose of these posts is to provide strategic leadership and overall direction to UMN’s DR projects in the North
- and the South of Dhading, so that UMN and its partners make significant impact at community level and contribute to the
- national level disaster response. The post-holders will report directly to the Disaster Response Manager and are also a part
- of the DR Programme Management Team.
Minimum qualifications:
• University level education to Masters Degree in Development or a disaster-related area.

• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and data-based applications
• More than five years’ experience as a programme manager, including similar sized programmes.

- The main purpose of these posts is to manage the implementation of one of the Disaster Response Projects in North or
- South Dhading, either in reconstruction, livelihoods or social/environmental enhancement. The post-holder will report to
- the Programme Manager for the respective Dhading area and is part of the Area Team in Dhading.
Minimum qualifications:
• University level education
• For the Construction Project: Bachelor in Engineering, Construction or a related area. For the Livelihoods Project: Bachelor in Development, Agriculture, WASH or a related area. For the Social/Environmental Project: Bachelor in Development, Education, Gender, Psychology or a related area.

The post-holders will report to the Logistics Manager in the DR Programme Office in Dhading.
• The Administrative and Financial Officer will be responsible for performing all financial processes in the DR programme,and providing administrative support.
• The Office Assistant will provide services to the Office Team with respect to care, cleaning,supplies etc.
• The Warehouse Keeper will be responsible for the stock in the warehouse and for accurate acceptance and delivery of supplies.
• The drivers will be responsible for driving four-wheel drive vehicles in the Dhading and surrounding area, mostly on difficult rural roads.
Minimum qualifications:
Admin and Financial Officer:
• B.B.S or equivalent. Accounting qualification an advantage.
• Must have experience with computerised accounting systems.
Office Assistant:
• S.L.C. pass.
Warehouse Keeper:
• S.L.C. pass/Intermediate preferred.
Drivers:
• S.L.C. pass/Intermediate preferred.
• Full, clean Nepali driving license for 4-wheel vehicles. Higher-level driving skills an advantage.
• Experience driving four-wheel drive vehicles in difficult conditions on rural roads and tracks.
All:
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in their relevant areas.
• Good team workers.
• Language and communication skills in both Nepali and English.
