Duties and Responsibilities
Summary of Key Functions




  • Research and gender analysis in wide range of areas related to gender equality and empowerment of women.
  • Data analysis, including review and improvement of gender statistics.
  • Provision of top quality advisory and programme development services.
  • Knowledge Management.
  • Advocacy support and facilitation of knowledge building and management.

Experience:-


  1. At least seven years of relevant work experience on substantive issues of gender equality involving research and policy analysis on gender and social policy;
  2. Substantive research outputs and publications, and/or high quality peer reviewed publications a strong asset;
  3. Previous experience working on major institutional reports with substantive gender content a strong asset;
  4. Good knowledge of the human rights-based approach with strong technical knowledge in results-based management and reporting;
  5. A proven ability to liaise with the Government and development partners;
  6. Experience of working in UN coordination would be an advantage.
